Product Pipeline

Ocular Therapeutix is in the research and development stage of developing additional ocular therapeutic products.  An example of one such product is a bio-resorbable punctum plug, designed to be implanted into the tear ducts and release therapeutic drugs over a specified period of time.  These plugs are being developed to improve convenience and efficiency over current drug delivery methods such as eye drops, and to address the clinical issues of patient non-compliance.  Additionally, Ocular Therapeutix is developing sustained drug-delivery punctum plugs with the goal to provide drug release levels with greater consistency than topical concentrations.
